PointenSlutten Race and Race ... into interesting things about different search engines...

Yes yes yes they are neck and neck as of this date and time - my pointenslutten pages on MSN and Google are at #8 and #9 on both, but the two pages from iSN News are at 16 and 48 (!) for Yahoo...

Oh Well, that goes to show... what? Well, some interesting discrepancies in the search engines. Whatever their criteria, we might say judging by pointenslutten results that since MSN recently tried - successfully, I'd say - to go head to head with Google, it actually seems to calculate things similarly to Google.

But not so. Yahoo and Google are actually more similar, and infinitely more advanced in the secondary image-search category, than MSN, which actually seems to be more crawling out of its Beta phase than emerging from it smoother, cleaner, smarter.

This blog on the other hand actually holds the top two positions on MSN - whereas on Google it's only #17 and on Yahoo not even in the top 100!

What is odd is that Yahoo has a spot for the page that represents the Thumbshots Ranking for PointenSlutten.

That to mee is something weirder than weird, like a freaky Escher print or those hoary old classics of standing in front of a mirror with a mirror, or drawing a picture of yourself drawing a picture of yourself, ad infinitum...

I mean thumbshots has a link of thumbshots showing the results - is that bombing? Will pointenslutten be banned from the web for this?
